Math Tutoring Resources and Opportunities

Mathematics Department Tutoring Center

Courses tutored include MAT 108, 113, 119, 120, 121, 144, 145, 146, and 147. Students don’t need an appointment; they can simply drop by during open hours and ask for help. There is room for students to have a seat at a table and study on their own if they like, then ask the tutor on duty for help whenever they have a question.

Math Tutoring Club

Courses tutored include MAT 113 and 120. Our club has two sides, one of which is the tutors who practice and train in the content we cover to become better tutors, and the students who benefit from our work. We are dedicated to being an extra resource for the abundant number of students who take general education mathematics courses. Typically, we hold 1 session per week that is either lecture-style or one-on-one style, depending on student turnout and how many tutors we have available.
